Max was born on June 12, 1988.  Caitlin's sister, Erin, got Maxy for her 7th birthday (Sept. 6th, 1988).  He lived a complete life, full of love and mayhem. He died because he had thyroid cancer, and began losing weight rapidly.  He was put to sleep in the early afternoon  of June 7th.   Max was an orange tabby.  His grave lies in the yard of the happy house of the Andrew' family.
